“Applicant-centric.” It’s hard to believe now, nearly three decades later, but when I started Atrium, the idea of centering the business on doing what was best for our people was an out-of-the-box idea. Yet, it felt right! My passion for building connections between people was the inspiration that made me embrace this industry. Over the years, as we expanded our wings, applicant-centric evolved into people-centric — and it’s still the beating heart of what drives us today.
From the very beginning, I believed a dynamic, uplifting, and rich employee experience should not be limited to full-time employees. I knew instinctively that there was more to be gained by creating an inclusive culture. Today, after more than 28 years in this industry, I’m honored to champion this vision on a global scale.
Atrium’s Beginnings
Blame my rose-colored glasses, but the early days of Atrium have a special place in my heart. In many ways, our scrappy team of four, crammed into a tiny office above Grand Central Station, embodied the same traits that make Atrium special today. Our team has always been committed to delivering groundbreaking solutions for our clients and candidates, challenging ourselves to reach new heights, and above all else put people first. These are the principles that have grown this company to what we are today: a full-service workforce program solutions and total talent management partner on an international scale.
Growth & Diversification
In the last few years, Atrium has invested heavily in the expansion of our business. Our growth mindset has allowed us to reach into new markets, broaden our talent community, and diversify our solutions through our global acquisition strategy. From expanding our global footprint and launching AtriumGlobal.com to unveiling the latest version of our proprietary IC Compliance evaluation technology, Engagent 2.0 and bolstering our EOR payrolling solutions in Canada, our team has been hard at work making workforce management easier for our clients. It’s been a fascinating journey: a blend of challenges, anticipation, and powerful moments that have demanded vulnerability and resilience.
And it has all been worth it! Like a gardener carefully nurturing seedlings, we’re now seeing the fruits of our labor. Our ability to adapt and grow with our clients in this constantly evolving global business environment has never been stronger. As we look to the future, I am thrilled to see these investments flourish and expand even further!
