  • PAID SICK TIME (PST) REQUEST FOR CONNECTICUT PAYROLL ASSOCIATES:

    Atrium Associates that work in Connecticut are eligible to accrue earned sick time on all hours worked at a rate of one (1) hour of earned sick time for every 30 hours worked and use up to 40 hours per calendar year. Atrium’s calendar year is defined as January 1 to December 31.

    Associates cannot begin using accrued paid sick leave until completion of 120 hours of employment. Each employee shall be entitled to carry over up to 40 unused accrued hours of paid sick leave from the current year period to the following year period. Paid sick time may be taken in one (1) hour increments. PST is paid at your current hourly rate. If your assignment ends at any point, earned but unused PST is not paid out. You must be on an active assignment to be eligible for a PST payment.

    Your PST request will be reviewed by Payroll to ensure eligibility requirements have been met. Please allow 7-14 business days for approval and processing of payment. If eligibility requirements are not met, Payroll will contact you.
